In the spirit of procrastination (I’m currently working on my comprehensive examinations), I’ve posted the recordings from my Masters recital. Well, they’ve actually been up for awhile, but I just added the last couple of bits of information to the page. Anyway, you can see the program, read my program notes, and listen to mp3s at http://davewells.us/mastersrecitalaudio.html. I played works by Devienne, Villa-Lobos, Telemann, and Zwilich. In addition to the normal bassoon and piano stuff (Devienne and Villa-Lobos), there’s baroque bassoon, baroque cello, and harpsichord (Telemann), and bassoon, piano, and percussion (Zwilich). Enjoy!
Masters Recital

Last Wednesday, your mom broadcast a note that you had posted recordings of your master’s recital, so I listened while I was prepared for class that afternoon. The bassoon is such a lovely instrument, and I thoroughly enjoyed hearing you play, even through low-end computer speakers. rc
