I suspect that this was related to Geek.Kon, which was going on all weekend in the UW Humanities Building (which we musicians share with historians, artists, and scholars of the Abrahamic religions), but I’m not sure of that. Apparently this isn’t a unique idea; I found a couple of other examples here and here. I kind of wish I’d been around to see the biker’s arrival or departure, to see what (or who?) rides in the coffin.
