I’ve posted a video of my Trio performing the first movement of Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Trio for oboe, clarinet, and bassoon. I hope to have more (perhaps the rest of our recital) posted soon, as well. Enjoy!

I’ve just posted mp3s from our last two Little Big Band concerts.. The first is from the end of the fall semester, and includes tunes by Dizzy Gillespie, Irving Berlin, and Chick Corea. The second concert, which happened just a few weeks ago, includes tunes by Gerry Mulligan, Thelonious Monk, and Richard Rodgers. The UW Little Big Band had our first concert of the semester last night. Apparently there was a photographer there from The Daily Cardinal (one of our two student papers), because we made the front page today:
The photo was even taken during one of my solos! There wasn’t a story attached, and the pic doesn’t seem to be online anywhere. But, The Cardinal publishes a PDF version of their paper. I grabbed today’s copy (since there doesn’t seem to be an archive) — you can find it here.
